Starlight Express Open Day, 5th August 2008.

Purse, Electra's Money Truck, is one smooth, sexy beast. However he's often costumed in a way that hinders, rather than helps, the actor convey the character. So, I tried to make the costume that bit more sexy... so we have hair not a hat - he appears more human therefore more accessible. Mesh panels in the top give a "Chicago"-esque glimpse of flesh (and much cooler to wear!), and the whole costume is as sleek and elegant as possible.

Ross here pulls off the look very well indeed, and was admired by many, many people at the Open Day!
